Symptomen
Wanneer u een draadloos aanwijsapparaat van Microsoft gebruikt dat gebruikmaakt van Microsoft IntelliPoint-software op een computer met Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), werkt de schermbeveiliging van de computer niet, terwijl deze wel is ingeschakeld.Oorzaak
Dit probleem treedt op als de PCM- en DVDLauncher-services op de achtergrond worden uitgevoerd. De PCM-service is onderdeel van het Dell-besturingssysteem dat wordt gebruikt om mediaprogramma's sneller te starten. DVDLauncher is een programma dat wordt gebruikt voor het afspelen van dvd's. Het probleem doet zich ook voor bij Windows Vista Premium en Windows Vista Ultimate als gevolg van de ingebouwde mediacentrumfunctionaliteit. Er is momenteel nog geen oplossing voor dit probleem in Windows Vista.Oplossing
U kunt dit probleem oplossen door een draadloze ontvanger aan te sluiten en vervolgens te controleren op updates. Ga hiervoor naar de website Microsoft Windows Update: Installeer de optionele hardware-update met de naam Microsoft HID Non-User Input Data Filter.Meer informatie
